- 18/03/2010†∑ The difference in frames may actually be right. I recall reading somewhere that the SS, the 9C1 and 9C6 (taxi) cars did have a heavier frame than the regular Caprice and Roadmaster.
- 15/02/2011†∑ Since it sounds like a major rebuild is in order, even if it is a 230, you can get a reman'd 250 crank and make it a 250. I think the only difference between 230/250 is crank and pistons. I think the only difference between 230/250 is crank and pistons.
